Louisa County Public Schools along with the Career and Technical Education Department are proud to offer a STEAM program to students in each of our four elementary schools.   The program is focused around problem solving, critical thinking, creativity and understanding computer language.  Each school has a classroom dedicated to STEAM activities that is fully outfitted with basic materials and various technologies.  The STEAM program is the foundation of our career and technical education department and was designed to ignite passion in our students at a young age.  When students enter the middle and high school they will be further ahead because of their exposure to STEAM in the K-5 setting.  Click here to see our STEAM curriculum map for grades K-5.
